As without is the opposite of with you use the negative of na-:

Eyes without a face = amehlo angenabuso (= eyes that do not have a face)
One cannot live without water = umuntu akakwazi ukuphila engenamanzi (= ... he not having water)

There is no food = Akukho ukudla or Akunakudla (= it does not have food)

Not quite. Actually the -ku- is the negative subject concord of the indefinite "it" (like in akubandi = it is not hot)

In a sentence with two subjects you have two possibilities:

1. If at least one of the subjects refers to a person you use the subject concord ba-:
The teacher and the chief have arrived = Umfundisi nenkosi bafikile
The boy and the dog are playing = Umfana nenja bayadla

2. If neither of the subjects refers to a person you use the subject concord zi-:
The cat and the rabbit are asleep = Ikati nonogwaja zilele
