though dodge, it is logically correct. a printer is umshicileli (more human than object however). it could also be isishicileli (more object than human) or umshini wokushicilela.

look at a fax machine for instance:

fax machine --> isikhahlamezi (more object than human) or umshini wokukhahlameza
fax copy --> umkhahlamezo
faxer --> umkhahlamezi (more human than object)

in many similar contexts though, isi- and um- are interchangable without losing too much meaning.
